So these are my layouts for the August Studio Calico gallery. My last gallery.
I have turned this over and over in my head, a thousand times. For over a month I've been thinking about how I'd word the announcement.
The truth is, my contract wasn't renewed for the next term. I don't exactly know why, I was just told that they were mixing up the team.
I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't surprised, hurt and saddened by this decision. For 8 months, I put my heart into the project of being on SCDT. But when it comes down to it, everything has a season - decisions are made and we move on.
I've enjoyed getting to know everyone at Studio Calico and I wish everyone there the best.

Oh Stephanie, I am surprised and saddened as well. Yours was one of the galleries that I always looked forward to seeing and was always inspired by. I will really miss you on the SCDT. I love your style and please keep creating and posting to inspire us. You have such grace and style - in your layouts and how you handle disappointment.

I was just wondering the other day how they go about managing their DT. There never seems to be a DT call (unless I just haven't been around long enough to know). I guess they just pick and choose who they want and how long they want them for hey?
Well never mind, you don't need to prove yourself by being on a DT - you just need to keep putting out amazing pages like you do! It's certainly not going to stop me and many others from following your blog eagerly awaiting the next installment of your crafty journey :-)
Well I hope you post all your creations here - I loved your layouts...its a loss for us. Wow things are really changing at SC. Don't be sad or hurt - I know its easier said then done but us are all lucky that for many we discovered you. For me I know I will follow you! Wishing you lots of scrappy success.

As tons of people have already said-you are totally AWESOME!!! Don't think this means that you've lost "it"! You have a lot of people who love your work and will continue to follow you. I hope things improve for you...everyone goes through slumps in life from time to time...just keep going and know that in time things will get better! Great things are in store for you, I know it!
