I can't believe it's reveal time again! This past month has blown by. It may have been the crazy busy weekends we've been having, or the week I spent at summer camp ;)
Cocoa Daisy's July kit, Santa Fe Sunset, is full of oranges and blues, stripes and chevrons, and lots of bits and pieces that are perfect for your summer travel album. Since our vacation isn't until next month, I used mine for some everyday photos.
Santa Fe Sunset
This one is about my walk from work every day, and how it may soon chance since my office is moving. I loved this paper (how could I not?), and the little wooden veneer bicycle. I did a lot of sewing on this month's layouts and this one was no exception. I couldn't help stitching down the bits and pieces. I also loved the alphas in this kit...grey! My favorite color.
Here's a layout about my most favorite artist. I just love this film strip of him, and find it hard not to scrap over and over and over again.
And finally, a self portrait! I love the chevrons and misting on this one...and I hardly ever use navy, but I couldn't help it. The blues and yellows just went together. I used to be shy about taking lots of self portraits...but who cares? They're fun to scrap!
And on a non-Cocoa Daisy note, I have a giveaway! Kind of a funny story, I bought a pack of these Studio Calico state die cuts. When I opened them, I realized that almost half of the pieces were pixelated! As a designer and a paying customer, it kind of annoyed me, so I contacted American Crafts to see if they were aware of it. They said they were, and that they had a new shipment coming in, and would I like a replacement? I said yes, and they shipped me not one, not two, not three.....but a box of SIX packages of these die cuts. Not only that, but they are still pixelated. :p
