Our whirlwind trip took us from Atlanta to Seattle to Portland to Las Vegas to Nashville and finally back to Chattanooga. We were visiting our friends Aimee and CJ in Seattle, and Emily and Josiah in Portland.
On our first day in Seattle, we landed at the airport, then scooted over to Christina's house to meet up with her. She was, to say the least, a FANTASTIC tour guide during our stay. We went to Archie McPhee's for some silly/fun/ridiculous shopping, had a bite to eat in Fremont at 9 Million in Unmarked Bills, where the beer flowed and the burgers were tasty.
We pulled out our tourist card and ended up at––where else? The Space Needle.
This view is totally worth $18.
So happy to have spent this night with my girls!
Mt. Ranier was a BEAST. We did part of the Sunrise trail, and hiked about five miles round trip...I'm happy to say that I was having so much fun I wasn't paying attention to the distance.
Snow in August!
And, we saw a bear! I was scared out of my mind, so Bo was really sweet to take a photo.
That's the end of days one and two! I was lucky enough to have the September Cocoa Daisy kit at my doorstep when I got back, so I didn't waste any time scrapping some of my Instagrams from the trip:
Keep your eyes out for more photos soon!

soooo jealous of your trip! looks awesome! (and great layouts, of course!)
wow. that is so cool that you guys saw a bear! I am jealous you saw Aimee, if I had a better vehicle, I think I would have driven to see her a dozen times by now. :) your photos are great! looks like a great time.
Gorgeous photos - looks like an amazing time!
Our mountains are bigger than your mountains. :) I was scared of the bear too. I am glad he didn't charge us, because I was tired and didn't think I could run the rest of the trail... I would have been bear-lunch.
Stunning photos especially those with landscape and glacier in the background.
